The Unitarian Church is a grade I listed building that offers fairytale views
across the valley.

Wedding ceremonies have been conducted here for over 100 years

The church is operated by a committee who give their time to keep this wonderful building alive, maintained and loved.

We work hard to keep the venue available to the community and visitors for many types of events.

Prices start at £1,500

including:

  • Full use of the church for 4 hours.
  • Minister fee.
  • legal wedding registration
  • Two stewards throughout.
  • Use of sound system & equipment.
  • Visits for your preparations & planning.
  • Rehearsal & preperation on eve.
  • Use of two beautiful carved thrones.
  • Use of grounds, lawns & woodland.
  • Freedom to craft your own event.
  • Seating for up to 350.
  • Stunning scenic backdrop for photos.
  • Parking for the wedding couple

Additional extras

(If there is anything you require that you don’t see on the list, please don’t hesitate to ask)

  • Extra time £100 per hour (includes two stewards)
  • Bell ringing £200.
  • Waiter service for drinks/food – £100 (up to 100 guests) £150 (up to £150 gueats) Waiter service includes glasses/cups & saucers
  • Screen and projector £50 (additional fee for operator/slideshow to be made)

Some things we cannot change

  • Only the wedding couple’s transport is allowed on the drive.
  • Only Biodegradable confetti can be used.
  • We can only provide outside space until 9pm and Live music inside is welcomed until 9:30pm.
